Known as Billy, Bill, Will or Willy, he passed away unexpectedly on April 9, 2022.  He was born in Spokane, WA on May 18, 1955 to William (Bill) and Thelma Weiland of Deer Park, WA.  He attended schools in the Deer Park School District and eventually earned a special education degree.  Billy was kind of a jack of all trades, and most recently had his own contractor business painting and remodeling.  He inherited his "green thumb" from his grandma Weiland and grew a bountiful garden and masses of house plants that he often gifted to family and friends.

He was predeceased by his wife Karla, and father, Bill Weiland Sr.  Survivors include his mother, Thelma Weiland, at the home; children, Sarah Weiland of Spokane Valley, Carman Weiland, Mandara, and Xhody; sisters, Phyllis (Ed) Zimmerer of Clayton; Patricia (Ed) Shillam of Deer Park; grandchildren: Raien, Jesse, Tyson; and great-granddaughter, Coraline.

A Celebration of Life to honor Billy will be held on May 21, 2022 from 1pm to 4pm at the Deer Park VFW with a pot luck lunch.
