Timothy Tanner's Obituary
On Tuesday December 1, 2020, Timothy N. Tanner, loving husband and father of two children, went home to be with the lord at age 67.
Tim was born on December 31, 1952 in Oakland, CA to John and June Tanner. He served in the Armed Forces from 1972 to 1978. On January 7, 1995, he married Dee Tanner. Together they raised two daughters, Dawn and Danna. Tim was an ordained minister from His Lighthouse Church and held services in homes in Deer Park, WA.
Tim had a passion for teaching God's word. He was a lifelong golfer, which began at 8 years old. He became a member of the Deer Park Men's Club and was an avid competitive golfer. He enjoyed spending time with friends at the golf course. Tim was notorious for his dad jokes, kind heart and considered everyone family.
Tim was preceded in death by his father John, his mother June and his sister Peggi. He is survived by his wife, Dee, his two daughters, Dawn and Danna, his siblings, Mike, Kathi and Terrence, and several cousins', nieces, and nephews.
A service will be held on Wednesday December 9th. Due to health restrictions set by the state we will be having a memorial in the spring.
