Timothy Andrew Hepting of Elk, Washington completed his life's journey with his wife and children by his side on February 14, 2022.

Tim was born on October 13, 1945, in Saint Louis, Missouri to Wilhelm and Hilda Hepting. He proudly served in the United States Navy for two years. After Tim's service to his country, he returned to his job at Hallmark Cards in Kansas City, Missouri. Tim met the love of his life, Janet Guebert Hepting in Concordia Missouri, whom he married August 26, 1972. Jan and Tim shared 49 glorious years together bringing two beautiful children into the world.

Tim, his wife and children lived in Missouri, Montana, and California ultimately settling in Spokane, Washington in 1980. Tim worked for Ross Printing Company for 17 years. Tim's last years of employment was as a courtesy shuttle driver for a Volkswagen/Audi dealership. Being a person that loved having conversations with all kinds of people, friend and strangers alike, this was a very fulfilling job for Tim.

Tim loved the northwest and all it had to offer, spending most weekends with his beloved family camping, fishing, or hunting. While Tim appreciated the outdoors and enjoyed it greatly, he loved his Lord and Savior and the church even more. He was a deeply faithful man who was a great example of what a father, husband and Christian man should be. He lived for his family and found joy in each of them. Tim found great joy watching all his grandchildren grow and develop over the years.

Tim is survived by his wife Janet, daughter Laurie (Jerry) Rasmussen, son Dan (Savannah) Hepting, brother Carl (Rosalyn) Hepting, sister Esther (Robert) Hartmann, and brother Thomas Hepting. Grandchildren: Julie (Jake) Boswell, Andy (Jazmine) Rasmussen, Zach and Abby Hepting, Heaven, Harmony and Angel and Great Grandchildren: Olivia and Paisley.
