Timothy Allen Lewis

1962-2025

Tim Lewis, a lifelong resident of Colbert, WA, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the age of 63, following a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Well-loved by all who knew him, Tim's loss will be felt deeply by his community and beyond.

Tim was born in April 1962 in Spokane, Washington, to Larry and Ileta Lewis, and graduated from Mead High School. He devoted his life to caring for others and was an avid gardener, hunter, and farmer. Those who knew Tim best remember him as someone who could always be counted on to bring laughter and joy to any gathering, yet he was equally quick to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Tim's diverse interests reflected his curious and passionate nature. He had a love for drama and theater, foreign languages, coin collecting, science fiction, orchids, and the aquatic creatures he lovingly maintained in his aquariums. In recent years, his greatest joy came from raising a diverse flock of chickens and caring for his beloved pets—four cats and two Australian cattle dogs—all of whom will deeply miss him.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Larry, in 2005; his sister, Lorri (Lewis) Keller, in 2009; and his mother, Ileta, in 2016. He is survived by his siblings and their spouses: Chris and Jacqui Lewis, and Sherri and John Magis. He is also deeply mourned by his nieces and nephews, their spouses, and their children: Alexander and Katherine Lewis; Amanda and Tom Harbinson with their children Ethan, Skylee, and Kohen; and Jennifer Robbins with her children Cole, Parker, and Jaxson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at Woodland Cemetery in Deer Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, Washington Chapter.
