Obituary

Stephen Mark Shroyer passed away unexpectedly on October 25, 2018 at the age of 59 in Los Angeles, CA. He was born April 8, 1959 in Sioux Falls, SD to Suse and Lloyd Shroyer and was a 1977 graduate and quarterback at San Dieguito High in Encinitas, CA.
Steve served 21 years in the United States Army - the majority spent piloting MH-60 Black Hawks in the 160th SOAR, retiring as a CW4.  For the past 16 years he flew private planes for Netjets and more recently, co-owned the Anytime Fitness in Deer Park with his wife.
He loved competition, especially football and golf, as a player, spectator, and coach.
He volunteered as a coach and organizer for the local Pop Warner football teams as well as the high school golf teams in Deer Park.  Steve was hardworking and passionate about helping others exceed their own expectations, but mostly loved to lounge and joke around with family and friends.
Steve is preceded in death by his son, Ryan, and survived by his children Matthew, Britni, Ethan, and Zack, his beloved wife Shannon, his sisters Lynn (Tom), Karen (Steve), and Jacque (Andy), his aunt Vonnie (Tom), his parents, nephews and nieces.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Steve on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 6:30 PM at the Deer Park High School.  We would like to thank our friends and the community for all your support and kindness in this difficult time
