Robert Grimm (85) of Deer Park, WA passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Royal Park Health & Rehabilitation in Spokane, WA. Robert was born to Walter and Elizabeth Grimm on a farm near Formoso, KS on December 31, 1933. He graduated from Formoso High School in 1951 and left for Whidbey Island shortly after. While there, he ran a Texaco station and was also a logger for number of years. During this time he married and had three children: Dwayne, Cheryl and Brenda. Later, Robert would move to Oregon where he drove a bus for the Estacada School District. In 1996, Robert moved back to Formoso and did what he loved, which was helping on the farm, all the while taking care of his ailing mother until she passed. In 2008 Robert married his current wife Dixie in Couer D'Alene, ID and the couple settled in Deer Park, WA where they made their home for the last 11 years.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, all his brothers and sisters and his previous wife Ada. He leaves behind his loving wife Dixie, Step-sons Tony, Greg, Tim and Jeff, his niece Kay and her family, as well as step-children and grandchildren from his previous marriage to Ada. Robert is also survived by his three children.
