Reagan Nicole
Huggins
Sep 27, 1999 — Dec 18, 2023
On December 18, 2023, Reagan Nicole Huggins passed from this life into the arms of the LORD. She was 24 years old. Reagan lived with her parents in Spokane, Washington, and died peacefully at Holy Family Hospital in the presence of her parents and sisters. She is preceded in death by grandparents James and Della Maler, "Poppy and Grammy." Reagan is survived by her loving parents Michael and Sheila Huggins, and sisters Chloe and Sydney Huggins; Grandpa Jack "Bear" Huggins of Conway, AR; Grandma Sherry Davis of Council Bluffs, IA; and Grandpa Lou and Brenda "GB" Cabaza of San Antonio, TX. Reagan was born September 27, 1999, in Abilene, Texas. She graduated from Mount Spokane High School in June of 2021. At age six months she was diagnosed with a rare genetic chromosomal deletion called 22q13 Deletion Syndrome (Phelan-McDermid Syndrome) and given a grim prognosis, but God saw fit to bless the lives of her family and everyone she encountered by extending her precious life. Even though Reagan couldn't talk to you, she could share her peaceful presence and bring out a gentle spirit in just about anyone. She had a full life with an active family—seeing the Grand Canyon, riding in her "Cadillac" stroller, camping with the Gartman Family, riding behind her dad's bike in her special needs trailer, and watching Elvis movies with Nurse Rhonda. Though many health difficulties arose over her life, she was strong and resilient. When she smiled, it lit up the room. She was cherished by her family, an extended body of family friends, and a loyal, loving team of nurses. When you remember anything about Reagan Huggins, remember she was loved and lovely—a precious and peaceful gift from God. Rest well in the arms of our Savior, sweet girl.
