Ramona Lee Kleweno "Schmidt", 66 of Chattaroy, WA passed away on August 7 ^th ,2022 unexpectedly from dementia.

Ramona was born on February 7 ^th ,1956 to Donna Downie and Edward Schmidt in Bitterberg, Germany. Ramona had started a career as a CNA and cared people in their time of need until she was unable to continue her career. In 1972, Ramona and Robert Leininger Sr. went on to have three children, Keri Leininger, Robert Leininger, Stephanie Leininger. In 1999, Ramona and Keith Kleweno got married and Ramona became a step Mother of Jeremiah Kleweno. In 1998, Ramona was no longer able to continue her career. At this time, she became a full-time grandma to her grandchildren. Mona also loved spending the afternoons at bingo hall playing bingo with her mother.

Ramona was predeceased by her parents Donna Mattauch (mother), Edward Schmidt (Father), Willis Mattauch (stepfather). Ramona is survived by her husband Keith Kleweno of Chattaroy, WA., sister Debbie Corey. Children: Keri and Marc Stern of loon lake, WA., Robert and Teresa Leininger of Brighton, Co., Stephanie Leininger Chattaroy, WA. Grandchildren: Chelsea and Quinten Mantooth of Spokane, WA., Dustyn Ford and Sierra DeMascio of Spokane, WA., Austin Ford and Courtney Lucas of Mead, WA., Taniesha Ford of Hot springs, MT., Dillon Ford of Mead, WA. Raylinn Leininger of Brighton, Co., Kristian Leininger of Brighton, Co., Kyler Leininger of Spokane, WA., Shyla Leininger of Chattaroy, WA., Ethan Kleweno and Brooklynn Kleweno of Williston, ND., Cousins: Kim Downie of Spokane Valley, WA., Steve Downie of Spokane, WA., Kelli and Randi Pattison of Mead, WA., Del Kimball of Canada. Ramona has nine great grandchildren that she loved very much.
