Loreen "Lorie" Lynne Keiter of Deer Park, WA passed away on November 22, 2018 after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Lorie was born February 17, 1958 in Weyburn Saskatchewan Canada to Gilbert and Shirley Noel. When Lorie was one year old, her parents moved to Flaxton, North Dakota. In 1973 they moved down the road, a whole 8 miles to Lignite and in 1975 to Douglas, WY where Lorie graduated high school.

Lorie married the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Keiter, on May 31, 1985 in Douglas, WY. In 1993, they moved to Loveland, CO where she worked in the title insurance and escrow industry as an escrow officer and as an escrow auditor toward the end of her career. She enjoyed helping people and her clients adored her. It was important to Lorie to become a US Citizen, which she accomplished in November of 1993.

Lorie enjoyed the simple things in life. Spending time with her family, friends and all her "peeps" were among her favorite things. Her two sons, Travis and Justin, and her four grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved baking (sweet tooth extraordinaire) gardening in her flowers, crafting, creative memory scrapbooking, traveling (by road), camping, RVing and dancing with her co-pilot in life – her husband Bob. Let us not forget her great love for Mountain Dew and her little Pepper dog!

Lorie was a one-of-a-kind beautiful soul. Always gentle and kind, always smiling, so personable and loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her and having her in their life.

Lorie is survived by her husband Bob, her sons Travis Wade Griffin (Libby), Justin Blair Griffin (Brandy Benway), mother Shirley Noel, sister Linda Schwartz (Ken), brother Lowell Noel (Deborah), grandchildren Jack, Lucy, JoJo, and Jimmy Griffin, nieces Danielle and Alyson and nephews Jeremy and Ryan.

Lorie was predeceased by her father, Gilbert Noel and her grandparents, Willis and Betty Bennett and Charles and Lucy Noel.

Funeral services will be held on December 1, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Open Door Congregational Church in Deer Park, WA, with Pastor Jim Lyonais officiating. A Celebration of Life, with the spreading of Lorie's ashes, will be held at a later date on family property outside of Darby, MT. Lauer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
