Lillian Eileen Jeanneret, 98, passed away May 5, 2021.
Eileen was born July 27, 1922 in Gifford, WA to John and Marie Martin. She grew up on a farm in Addy with her siblings John "Bud" and Janell. She attended K-8 in Addy and since there was no high school, she moved to Spokane and boarded out at her Aunt Lil and Uncle Harry's during the week. She graduated from North Central High School in 1941. After graduation she worked for Boeing in the blueprint department, was a homemaker and worked for Pacific Northwest Bell as an operator where she retired after 27 years.
She met the love of her life, Cecil, at a grange hall dance in Addy and they married on January 10, 1943. They were married 65 years. They made their home at Hunter, WA, where they owned a dairy farm, and welcomed their first three sons Bob, Ron, and Jack. They later moved to Spokane and had two more children Dan and Jan.
Eileen is survived by her five children Bob (Jodi) Jeanneret, Ron Jeanneret, Jack Jeanneret, Dan (Barb) Jeanneret, and Jan (Mitch) Bollman. Twelve grandchildren and nineteen great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Cecil, grandchildren Casey Keller and Debra Jeanneret, and Brother Bud Martin.
