LeRoy G Mattson, 60 of Deer Park, Washington went home to be with his Lord, March 20, 2021.

He was born April 25, 1960 in Wenatchee, Washington, the son of the late Kenneth & Pauline Mattson. He was the oldest of 3 brothers who were raised on a farm in Quincy, Washington.

He graduated from Vennard College in University City, Iowa, in 1983, with a bachelor's degree in theology. After college LeRoy suffered a severe accident on the job where his right hand was severed. Although reattached, he never regained full use of that hand. He then returned to College and earned his Nursing Home Administration degree. After a variety of Nursing Home Administration jobs in Iowa then Washington, he became the Owner/Operator of Willow Grove Home in Mead, Washington from 2002 to 2017. He was also a Chairman of various boards throughout his career in the nursing home community.

LeRoy's desire to help others was evident in many ways. For 14 years LeRoy was able to follow his basketball passion by volunteering for the Upwards Basketball Ministry. He went on many mission trips to help with various projects.  At church, you would most likely find him volunteering in the sound booth.

He is survived by his wife Christy, brother Robert Mattson (Jedonne) and brother Ed Mattson (Charlotte), and several nieces and nephews.

A private burial was held on Saturday, March 27 ^th , with a Celebration of Life planned at Calvary Chapel Deer Park on April 24 ^th , 2021 at 11am.
