Kristie "Kris" Ann Lord O'Leary Haffner passed away at her home on April 9th 2025 at the age of 82. Kris was born to Betty and Gordon Lord. Sadly, Gordon was a casualty of WWII. Betty remarried her high school sweetheart, Sherill "Lefty" Pradella who raised Kris as his own. Kris graduated from Shadle Park High School and went on to college briefly at WSU. She was very talented and athletic. She excelled at skiing, bowing, and golf.  She sold real estate and was a pet sitter for over 30 years. Kris is survived by her daughter Sherilynn O'Leary, her son Scott (Janna) O'Leary and grandchildren Darby and Darian O'Leary. Her biggest joy in life was family and her cats and dogs. She also loved her home on the river and remained there until her passing, which was her greatest wish.  Thank you to Phyllis Fernandez who provided never-ending support and love. She considered you her "other daughter." Thank you to her caregivers over the last few years, Jane, Amanda, Mary, and Jacob.  And thank you to her wonderful friends/neighbors Jennifer and David Emerson who provided daily support for the last 2 years. Kris will be missed and forever in our hearts. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Spokane Humane Society.  Rest in peace.  We love you.
