Franklin, Jeanne L. August 28, 1947 - August 2, 2021.

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and friend, Jeanne Franklin, on August 2, 2021.  Jeanne was born August 28, 1947 in Spokane, Washington, to Walter H. and Dorothy Mae Bagley.  She graduated from Aiea High School in Aiea, HI 1965.  In 1966, her father was stationed in Colorado Springs, where she met the love of her life Dave and they were married in January of 1968.  They had their daughter Michele and their sons Chris and Andy Franklin in Colorado Springs.  In 1979, they moved from Colorado Springs to Deer Park where they owned and operated Deer Park Auto Licensing/Franklin Accounting and Tax Service.  In 2009, after the passing of Dave, she owned the businesses with her son Andy.  She was active in the community of Deer Park, where she coached the Deer Park High School girls tennis team from 1985-1997, was on the Deer Park Ambulance Board of Directors from 2013-2019, did the accounting and books for Woodland Cemetery since 1979.  In 2010, she was selected as the Honored Settler for Deer Park.  Jeanne will be sadly missed not only by the community, but by many friends and family.  She is survived by her three children Michele and her husband Mark Devore of Deer Park, Chris and his wife Heather Franklin of Silverdale, and Andy and his wife Tonya Franklin of Spokane, grandchildren Cody Devore, Josh and his wife Mariah Devore, Kylie Franklin, Drew Franklin, Will Franklin, Veronica Henjum, Victoria and her husband Frank Hendrickson, and Allison Henjum, great grandchild Hank Hendrickson, her sister Vicki and husband Mike Weisgerber, numerous nieces and nephews, and her dog Potchie. She was preceded in death by her husband Dave, parents Walt and Dorothy Bagley, brother Herschel Bagley and her beloved dog Teddy. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations may be made to Inland Empire Golden Retriever Rescue, PO Box 48062, Spokane, WA. 99228.  A Celebration of Jeanne's life will be held on Saturday August 28th, 2021, at the Fire District 4 Community Center located at 315 East A Street, Deer Park, WA. 99006, starting at 3 PM.  Face masks will be required for all in attendance.
