Ivan was born January 3, 1941 on "Happy Hill" in Ford Washington to Lewis and Mable Rasmussen.  He was received into glory on April 1, 2021.

Ivan married the love of his life, Ruth, on June 22, 1963 and they shared 50 glorious years together.  That same year he began working at Western Fruit Express Railroad where over 30 years they built lifelong friendships.  In 1982 Ivan and Ruth decided to purchase Jerry's Landing Resort on Eloika Lake in Elk Washington.  They became a huge part of the Elk community they loved so much.  In 2001 they were able to build the home of their dreams overlooking Eloika Lake.

Ivan is survived by his sons:  Ray, Jerry (Laurie), grandchildren:  Tanner (Dannielle), Landon, Julie (Jake), Andy (Jazmine),  great-grandchildren:  Tay, Olivia, and his companion Annette Roberg.

Ivan was preceded in death by his wife Ruth, daughter Cheryl, his beloved parents, and brothers Harley and Marvin.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, April 19, 2021 at Country Church of the Open Bible, 40015 N. Collins rd., Elk, Washington.
