Obituary

Harvey Homer Hale, age 87, of Deer Park, WA passed away on September 28th surrounded by his loving family in his home.

Born on October 6,1938 in Cheney, WA he was the son of the late Homer & Doris Hale. Harvey was raised on a dairy farm where he learned the values of hard work and the love of animals that shaped his life. He enjoyed the friends and leadership he gained from FFA, 4-H and school sprots that he taught his own children. Harvey graduated from Riverside High and went on to build a meaningful career as a carpenter/roofer with his family Brick Block and Mason Roofing till he retired.

Beyond his professional life, Harvey was a man of many passions. He loved raising his children in Deer Park on his family land he grew up on as a dairy farmer. Dad enjoyed fishing, camping, RV traveling around the US. He was best known for his quick wit, generous heart, storytelling and could dance the night away with his friends of the Jacks & Jennys. He was proud of his community and was the best damn local tour guide. He could fix anything with bailing twine and a piece of wire. His energy was unmatched to the end.

Harvey is survived by his devoted daughters, Leah Hale-Bias (Jason) of Deer Park, Dawn L. Hale-Frey (David) of Spokane, and Holly Hale-Jackson of Rathdrum, Id. His sister Gladys Hale-Sullivan of Haden, Id. He has 7 beautiful grandchildren, Angeleah Frey, Devan Frey, Christian Frey, Aarin Doty-Waddle, Silhouette Hale, Michael and Evan Bias. And loved playing with all the great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Evan Hale and granddaughter Brandy Sutton.
