It is with a heavy heart that we are saddened to announce the passing of Gaylon (Mr. G. as most called him) Hughes. He will be lovingly remembered by his brothers Dennis, Steve (Lindsay) and Ron, as well as his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Gaylon worked at Holy Family Hospital for 42 Years, retiring in 2011. Mr. G. never married, but his Grandnieces Sam and Andrea were like his little girls. He spent many days at the cabin playing games, floating, taking pictures and hiking. He left us doing what he loved, hiking with Sam at the lake when he had a stroke. There will be no service, at his request, but a Celebration of Life will be held at the lake later, with a small gathering of family and friends.
