Obituary

On April 14th, 2024, Ashley Amanda Mintz-Brown, loving wife and mother of seven children, passed away at the age of 36. Ashley was born at North East Georgia Medical Center, on September 19th, 1987 to father, Victor Mintz, and mother, Rena Bartelds in Gainesville, Georgia. Ashley and her family moved to Summit Valley in March of 1995. Ashley attended Summit Valley elementary/junior high school, where she excelled in her studies, she was skipped forward a grade and was also an honor student, then transferred to Jenkins highschool in 2001. Ashley graduated at Jenkins highschool in 2005, moving on to Chaminade University in Honolulu, Hawaii for a Medical Doctorate in Forensic Science in the Fall of 2005. Ashley was to finish her General studies degree with transfer to Washington State University at the end of Spring Quarter in 2024. On January 31st of 2018, Ashley wed her best friend, Christopher Brown. Together they raised six daughters, Christina, Mysti, Cassondra, Jasmine, Mya, and Nola, and one son, Issac. Ashley's inquisitive nature led to a plethora of interests and hobbies including pottery, jewelry making, cooking, photography, gardening and many many more. Ashley love music and could rarely resist the urge to dance with the rhythm. In all endeavors Ashley pursued she did so with strong conviction and indomitable tenacity. The energy she exuded was as infectious as her laughter. She displayed unquestionable loyalty to those she knew and loved, and endless compassion and kindness to everyone she encountered. She is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Ronald and Ruby Bartelds, paternal grandparents, Havil(Hayward) Hayden and Joanne Mintz. Aunt Rhonda Ann Mintz and cousins Dan Bartelds, Jacob Bartelds and Phillip Dwayne Young. She is survived by husband, Christopher James Stephen Brown, her daughters, Christina Marie Love Brown,Mysti Jean Brown, Cassondra Jaime Mckenzie Brown, Jasmine Victoria Brown, Mya Elizabeth Brown, Nola Brown, her son Issac Orion Brown, her parents Victor Mintz and Rena Bartelds, parents in-law, Cathryn Robin Delano and Lewis Delano, Siblings, Amberly Paige Mintz, Julian David Mintz, Haley Nicole Bartelds, and Tia Myesha Mintz, Brother in laws, David Zachary Hagan, Adrian Delano, and Dylan Delano, sister in law, Michelle Brown, Great uncle and aunt Edwin and Jackie Aebly, uncle and aunts, Fitzeroy and Regina Dryden, Gary and Rene Olson, and Raymond Bartelds, cousins, Courtney Young, Jimmy Lorenzo Jackson, Erica Daniels, Rodricons Mintz, Eddy Bailey, Jessica Bailey, Tyrel Lampkin, Marvin Olson, Julie Olson, Jamie Olson, Jesse Bartelds, and many more
